Spooky Splash Bash - Oct. 13, 2023

Plunge into a realm of exhilarating thrills at the highly anticipated Halloween extravaganza of the year. The Keller Pointe aquatics center is transforming into a realm of ghostly delight for a night of aquatic thrills and chills like you've never experienced before. Prepare for a day of enchanting fun suitable for all ages as we embrace the uniqueness of Friday the 13th! Fall Fest at Pioneers Rest - Oct. 15, 2023

Fall Fest at Pioneers Rest, will occur at 620 Samuels Avenue on Sunday, October 15, from 11am-3pm. This fall event in Fort Worth will include food trucks, a dog parade and costume contest, farmers market vendors, vintage goods, craft vendors, health and wellness vendors, children's activities, historic reenactments, live music by Buttermilk Junction and Cowtown Opry, and vintage cars. This festival promises to bring the historic community and the Uptown Downtown neighborhood together for a first event of its kind. It is a fundraiser in support of Pioneers Rest Cemetery - Fort Worth’s 1850 burial ground which is on the National Register. The beautiful urban, green space is the only remaining resource from the original Fort which was located nearby and commanded by Major Ripley Arnold. ArtsGoggle - Oct. 21, 2023

ArtsGoggle is Fort Worth's premier festival of local arts. This free-to-the-public, family-friendly Fort Worth event hosts more than 1,000 visual artists, 50 musical performances, artistic displays of every kind, food, drink, and fun for everyone. Unlike any event in Fort Worth, the festival exclusively focuses on highlighting the work of local artists, musicians, and performers of all media and experience levels. ArtsGoggle attracts a crowd of 60,000+ patrons annually that are as diverse as the event's Near Southside neighborhood. Visitors are invited to park their cars and rediscover this revitalized urban district by Trinity Metro transit, by foot, or by bicycle, including Fort Worth Bike Sharing bikes.

Join the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District for the Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering and Western Swing Festival. Boo at the Zoo - Oct. 27 - 29, 2023

The Fort Worth Zoo is hosting Boo at the Zoo! The daytime event is free with Zoo admission or membership. The whole family can enjoy trick-or-treating, themed entertainment, animal shows, and more. A favorite Boo at the Zoo tradition is the display of pumpkins transformed into works of art created by members of the community. The Pumpkin Patch will begin accepting entries on Sunday, October 1st. Decorate a pumpkin with paint, stencils, accessories – whatever you can dream up. Find more information here.

Denton's Day of the Dead Festival - Oct. 27 - 28, 2023

This multicultural, family-friendly festival pays homage to the goodness of the harvest, Dia de los Muertos, the fall season, and all things Halloween! Coffin races, lantern-lit twilight parade, games and activities for all ages, a salsa cook-off, pumpkin patch, street performers, and vendor booths featuring local art, crafts, and food. Water Lantern Festival - Nov. 11, 2023

Decorate, light and launch your own lantern on the Trinity River during the Water Lantern Festival at Panther Island Pavilion on November 11th. The event features music and food and culminates in lighting up the night with inspiring floating lanterns. A ticket gets you into the festival area and a floating lantern kit — additional kits can be purchased. The price covers clean-up after the event, which runs from 4pm-8:30pm.
